Nelson College London’s first ever Learning, Teaching, Engagement and Enhancement Conference will be taking place on Tuesday 3 July 2018, at the Gants Hill campus. This conference aims to receive views from a range of professionals from the education sector, as well as support staff and students in areas such as learning, teaching, engagement and enhancement. We will be welcoming external guests, as well as internal members to the panel to join us in the discussion to facilitate the sharing of best practice amongst colleagues.
As a student representative, I can proudly say that Nelson College is among one of the best colleges known for the HND Hospitality Management course.
I am glad to be a part of Nelson College. The staff members are friendly and helpful. The lecturers are always keen to help and try their best to make the lectures interesting and easy to understand.
Also, the college organises several activities such as cooking competitions and affordable trips throughout the year. The College atmosphere is great and the new library is fabulous.
To conclude I can say that this college provides all the facilities needed in order to satisfy the students.”
I have had the pleasure of attending Nelson College since September 2014, and I am currently in my second year, studying HND Hospitality Management.
I enjoy the course a lot and find the teaching staff very helpful and knowledgeable of their subject.
Attending Nelson College has given me the opportunity to meet a variety of people from all over the world, learning from their individual cultures and experiences.
Travel opportunities, entering competitions and learning, are all part of the student experience at Nelson College.”
I was very happy to start my studies at Nelson College London at the Gants Hill Campus. I had been toying with the idea of further education for a few years but couldn’t find a college suitable for my needs. Nelson College was recommended by a friend so I set out to check things out. My first point of call was to talk to some of the students who studied at NCL and from their feedback I have heard nothing but positive things. I arranged an interview and the rest is history.
From day one I have been very impressed with the friendliness, facilities and professionalism of the College. The staff members from the receptionist to the management team were all very helpful and I was made to feel welcome from the start. The teachers are very approachable and are always available to help the students.
A great addition to NCL is the brand new library and computer room for students use. I am looking forward very much to continuing my studies at NCL and would gladly recommend Nelson College to any prospective students. ”
