Student Representatives

A Student Representative must possess the following key attributes: (this description of attributes and responsibilities should be at higher education grade level).

  • Integrity: Uphold integrity and set a positive role model for peers.
  • Kindness: Demonstrate good behaviour and genuine care for others.
  • Focus: Stay focused and actively engage in all classroom activities.
  • Responsibility: Consistently complete assignments and fulfil responsibilities on time.
  • Courtesy: Treat peers, staff, and faculty with politeness and respect.
  • Respect: Value others' opinions and feelings.
  • Attendance: Be on time and attend regularly.
  • Communication: Listen actively and express ideas clearly, representing student voices.

Responsibilities of a Student Representative:

  • Engage regularly with classmates to improve the class standards.
  • Participate in Student Representatives Committee meetings each term.
  • Present and address class concerns during meetings.
  • Provide feedback and updates to fellow students.
  • Support the student engagement in organising events and trips.
  • Leadership: Take initiative, motivate peers, and guide teams toward common goals.
