Academic Support

Nelson College London provides compulsory tutorial classes to help support the students with outstanding work/assignments and additional questions they may have regarding the course.

One-to-one (Lecturer-to-Student) Support:

Student Support Lecturer

There is a Student Support Lecturer available, through booked appointments, for students who need additional support with their assignments. Students need to fill in a ‘student support booking form’ requesting one-to-one support and the form should be returned to either the Academic Administrator or the Head of Academic Services.

Personal Tutor (Lecturer-to-Student Support)

Students are provided with a Personal Tutor which allows students to meet with the lecturer and discuss any questions related to the subjects taught. Students should contact the lecturer and agree on a time convenient for both parties. During the support session, the lecturer is advised to fill in ‘Student Log’ sheet to record the session.
