Foundation Degree in Business

Full Time – 2 Academic Years

Course Description

This course is designed to integrate theoretical and work-based learning through close collaboration between students, the employer forum, and Nelson College London. In order to equip students with the knowledge, understanding, and skills that employers and labour market need, employers were involved in the design and review of the Foundation Degree programme. Employers are also involved in the delivery of the programme by way of conducting workshops and fieldtrips. The course seeks to provide students with an elaborative insight into the world of business and associated sectors and to equip them with the necessary knowledge and academic and vocational skills to gain employment or establish their own businesses. Students will benefit from the interpretation of ideas and the experience of practice within the wider context of employment, in which knowledge, understanding, and skills are clearly integrated.
