BA (Hons) Business (Top-Up)

Full Time - 1 Year

Course Description

Students will develop the skills and competencies relevant to their roles as future managers by enhancing their interpersonal and transferable skills to maximise opportunities for employability. To achieve this, the course enables students to identify and analyse appropriate techniques for making strategic, tactical, and operational management decisions.

These will be encouraged through lectures and technical workshops supported by group and individual tutorials delivered by lecturers and visiting experts from relevant industries. Regular field trips, multi-media demonstrations, academic tutorials, role-play activities, online learning, and blended learning will also be available.

The lecture sessions focus on the theoretical underpinnings of the course, whereas group tutorials focus on the application and analysis of these using various means, including case studies and problem-solving techniques. Articles from various magazines and journals will be used in addition to directed reading from textbooks and online materials/where relevant.
