On 28th November 2024, the college proudly celebrated the graduation ceremony for the January 2022 and September 2022 intakes. More than 90% of students from both intakes were awarded their Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management, marking a significant milestone in their academic and professional journey. The event was a joyous occasion, honouring their dedication and achievements.

Stuart Trow has more than 35 years experience in finance and Investment, most latterly as Credit Strategist at the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD). He has also served for 20 years as a school governor and finance committee member and was elected to two terms to both EBRD’s Retirement Plan and Investment Committees.

Helen Pickering, with over 30 years of distinguished service in the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), has an extensive background in international relations, organisational culture improvement, and operational management. Her overseas assignments included roles as Deputy Ambassador where she played a key role in fostering and maintaining diplomatic relationships with numerous European countries. She has also served as a school governor for over eight years, supporting two primary schools in areas with high deprivation indexes.

Sarah-Jo Loveday, a senior HR consultant, with former roles as a senior employee relations specialist, accredited workplace and commercial mediator, and HR lecturer. She is also actively involved with the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) as a Member of the LCCI’s Council and Member Expert in HR. Sarah’s professional affiliations include: a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), a Fellow of the Institute of Consultants, and an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She is also the founder of peopleknd., a London-based HR consultancy, and as a Freeman of the City of London and a Liveryman with the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants (WCoMC), Sarah Jo carries valuable influence and connections within the city to further bolster Nelson College London’s standing and outreach.
