Dr. Tommie Anderson-Jaquest is a distinguished academic professional with extensive experience in UK Higher Education, specializing in quality assurance, academic leadership, programme development, teaching, thesis and dissertation supervision, and research. With a background spanning both public and private HE sectors, she has played key roles in institutional reviews, quality audits, programme validations, and assessing module design and delivery. Her leadership experience includes working as an HE consultant, a non-executive director, an academic manager, a principal lecturer, and an editor of academic research journals.
She has a proven track record of ensuring academic standards in transnational education partnerships and supporting institutions in aligning with the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) and Sector Agreed Principles set out in the UK Quality Code (2024), conditions set by the Office for Students (OfS) and requirements set by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). Her commercial experience as an international civil servant and professional musician has enhanced her ability to think strategically and to work effectively as a team leader or member in multicultural environments, making her a valuable asset in international academic quality assurance roles.
