MA International Business (Hospitality)
International Business (Hospitality) encompasses key functional areas evaluated in a global context, preparing students for a wide range of roles in the international hospitality industry. The course is structured in a way that allows students to tailor the learning and assessment in the area of their interest. The breadth of material covered provides students with exposure to international business and hospitality concepts and potential for international careers and opportunities in those areas.
Students will receive advanced tuition in international hospitality management, through studying topics including: Assembling and Managing High Performance Teams across Cultures, Strategic Hospitality Management in a Global Environment, International Business Research and International Digital Marketing.
In support, students will also benefit from access to Nelson College London’s library and our New Computer Lab. Additional resources are also available through London Metropolitan University.
The course aims to develop students to advanced level, to flexibly and creatively apply their acquired knowledge to deal with complex business issues, synthesize ideas and information in innovative ways through sound analysis and judgement and to generate transformative solutions.
Awarding Institute
This is a multi-disciplinary degree course validated by London Metropolitan University. One or more modules or the full course has been developed and delivered by Nelson College London and has been evaluated and deemed by London Metropolitan university (London Met) to be of an equivalent standard and quality to that of its own provision, and therefore suitable to lead to one of its own awards.

Entry requirements:
A good honours degree (minimum 2:2) in a relevant subject discipline. Students whose medium of study at degree level qualification is not English are required to produce evidence of English language proficiency at IELTS 6.0 (with 5.5 in each component) or equivalent or must pass an entry diagnostic assessment organised by Nelson College.
Assessment:
A range of assessment methods including essays, reports, portfolios, case studies, info graphic creation and oral presentations appropriate to postgraduate study are used to measure student performance academically and in relation to life and work experiences. Further information on the assessment weighting can be found in the course and module specifications.
Delivery Method
Blended Learning Delivery Format (Online Teaching with Periodic Campus Attendance)
Your online learning will include scheduled weekly three-hour sessions (morning and afternoon) for each module comprising of: Lectures, tailored instructional videos, Interactive exercises, Case Studies and Online discussions guided by Academic Support Tutors.
All relevant lecture materials and various additional resources will be uploaded to our Virtual online Learning Environment (VLE).
On-Campus Classes
Classes and seminars are designed to consolidate your knowledge and understanding, share your professional experience and challenge your ideas to apply to real-world cases.

Weekend Schools
You will also be required to attend one Weekend School per Semester.
